ABOUT ME:

Hello! I’m Emma Cappa, the creative force behind Cybelia Co. Born in Alabama and raised in St. Charles, IL, I embarked on my employment journey at the tender age of 15, working as a hostess at a local restaurant. Over the course of 8 years, I wore many hats—from server and food expo to kitchen manager and hostess/bus-girl. My passion for hospitality led me to attend Northern Illinois University and Elgin Community College, where I immersed myself in the field, although my journey to a degree took a pause after several attempts at conquering that one pesky math class.

In 2017, I moved to Lake County and transitioned into roles as an administrative assistant, and later into customer service and logistics. My most rewarding job was with a non-profit organization where I managed logistics, led a customer support team, and processed donations. Sadly, financial issues led to the organization’s closure, but it sparked a new beginning for me. I founded Cybelia Co., a digital marketing company dedicated to helping businesses grow online and connect with a broader audience.

My educational path didn’t stop at college. I pursued additional learning through HubSpot, earning certifications in SEO and Social Media Marketing. My creative spirit shines through in my hobbies, which include doing my nails, hair, and makeup, painting, drawing, designing, playing with clay, tackling random home renovations, indulging in online shopping, and spending time with my two adorable cats.

One of my proudest achievements is passing my SEO certification course with a 99% on the first try. At Cybelia Co., I bring that same dedication to helping my clients. I believe in the power of personal connections and take the time to truly understand each client’s vision, working tirelessly to bring it to life.

Beyond work, I believe in the simple yet profound act of helping others—whether it’s through a thoughtful gesture or a kind compliment. I also love playing board games, with Bingo being my absolute favorite.

At Cybelia Co., my vision is clear: to create a brand that is trendy, funny, and uniquely personable. I aim to stand out in the digital marketing world by infusing personality into everything we do, making each client feel valued and understood.

cYBELIA’S sTORY:

At Cybelia Co., our story began with a moment of collaboration and creativity. It all started when I had the opportunity to work with my mom on creating a graphic for a local beer festival. The design was a hit, and seeing everyone embrace and use it sparked something within me. That was the moment I realized my passion for helping businesses shine through compelling visuals and effective marketing strategies.

Starting Cybelia Co. came with its challenges. Like any new venture, it took time to find the most efficient ways to operate. There was a steep learning curve in the beginning, but now, creating content and planning events feels second nature. The experience has taught me that persistence and continuous learning are key to overcoming any hurdle.

Today, Cybelia Co. has grown into a thriving business. I am proud to have one full-time client who keeps me super busy, along with numerous part-time projects assisting other businesses. Although I’m currently a one-woman show, I have big dreams for the future. I aspire to expand my team, share my knowledge, and help others run their social media accounts effectively, so they don’t need long-term support.

Our mission at Cybelia Co. is simple: to help as much as we can and to teach as much as we can. I believe in empowering my clients to save money while reaping the benefits of social media. This philosophy drives me to offer classes, like Canva tutorials, to equip businesses with the skills they need to manage their own social media presence.

Looking ahead, my goals are to take on more clients and eventually build a team that shares my passion for learning and teaching. With new tools and trends emerging all the time, staying updated is crucial. I want to create an environment where we can all learn from each other and continue to grow.

Giving back to the community is also a core value of Cybelia Co. I often donate my time to teach clients and community members free tools that can make managing their businesses easier. It’s my way of making a positive impact and ensuring that even those with limited resources can benefit from effective marketing strategies.
